Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Guelph/Eramosa has closed the competitions inviting applications from persons interested in representing the Township Council on committees for the upcoming four year term.

Persons applying for appointment must be a Canadian Citizen, over 18 years of age and either an owner, tenant, spouse of an owner or tenant of land in the Township of Guelph/Eramosa.

How To Apply For Appointment To A Township Committee

The Township is legislated by certain Acts such as the Municipal Act and the Planning Act, to provide and establish certain committees and to appoint individual residents and/or members of Council to these bodies. In most cases, the term of the board or committee is the same as the term of Council. The Committee of Adjustment, the Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee and Economic Development Committee are just three of the committees available.

At election time or at any other time when requested, persons interested in serving on a committee are welcome to fill out the following application and submit it to the Clerk's Office:  Application for Appointment to Committees
