Civil Marriage Ceremonies
The Township of Guelph/Eramosa offers Civil Marriage Ceremonies that are performed by a Marriage Officiant. Officiants can perform civil marriage ceremonies either within the Township Council Chambers or at another location within the Province of Ontario. The Civil Marriage Ceremony performed by Marriage Officiants will be a non-denominational and dignified ceremony, which adheres to the requirements of the Marriage Act for the Province of Ontario.
The fee for a civil marriage ceremony is $200.00 if performed within the Council Chambers, during regular business hours. The fee for a civil marriage ceremony is $300.00, plus Officiant expenses, if performed within at another location within the Province of Ontario, outside of Council Chambers and regular business hours. All fees are payable by cash, cheque or debit at the Township of Guelph/Eramosa.
