THIS NOTICE IS FOR AFFECTED RESIDENTS OF HARRIS STREET, ROCKWOOD.
Please note, due to the reconstruction of Harris Street in Rockwood, the required infrastructure upgrades will result in a water shut down. The water shut down was orignially scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, 2019 however, due to the weather, it has been rescheduled to Thursday, July 18, 2019 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Please do not use the water during this time. If the required work is rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified.
If you have specialized plumbing fixtures such as softeners, filters, or treatment systems, please follow instructions provided by the manufacturer. If you have a fire prevention sprinkler system, please advise your fire protection company.
Once water is turned back on, slowly flush a cold water tap that is not connected to the water softener for 3 to 5 minutes to flush out any residue until it runs clear.
It may be beneficial to set aside some containers of water in advance of the water shut down for emergency use if needed.
