VIRTUAL COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS
Have you ever wanted to attend a Council meeting but couldn’t make it in person? Changes to
municipal law during the COVID-19 pandemic has seen the arrival of virtual meetings to Guelph/
Eramosa Township - a more convenient way for
you to keep informed with what is going
on in your local community!
Before March 2020 if you wanted to attend a
Council meeting, the only way to do so was to
show up in person. With pandemic restrictions in
effect, those rules had to be changed for Council’s
to continue to meet and make important decisions
for their communities. It took some time for
municipalities across Ontario to establish their
preferred delivery model for this new normal;
the Township of Guelph/Eramosa has adopted
the platform of Zoom for all their Council and
Committee meetings. We welcome you to join in
to listen to the proceedings. Attending is as easy
as following the information available at the top
of the meeting agenda!
