Hillside Festival

(41st Annual) The Hillside Festival A crowd of hands clapping along to music at a festivalis one of Canada’s best-loved music festivals and a three-day featuring a diverse blend of musical genres in a relaxed festival atmosphere. The Hillside Festival is a not-for-profit music festival that celebrates creativity through artistic expression, community engagement and environmental leadership.

Pirate Fest

August 3rd-5th , 2024

A festival for the whole family!  Be a pirate for the day and play!  A full weekend of activities, including: a pirate bouncy ship, kids activities, archery, stories, magic, juggling and more!  Have a break in the pirate pub and enjoy food and drinks while listening to live music!

Subaru Triathlon Series II

August 31st, 2024

Athletes of all abilities will participate at the Guelph Lake Conservation Area and surrounding roads, which is a venue selection for its challenge and natural beauty.

Eden Mills Writers’ Festival

A nationally acclaimed and widely respected literary event, which takes place on the banks of the Eramosa River. Audiences of several thousand “come for the words” each year to enjoy readings and to visit Publishers’ Way, where publishers, booksellers, magazine producers and non-profit groups come to showcase their wares.

WINTER (December - February)
Rockwood Parade of Lights

December 12, 2024

Bundle up and enjoy a special evening with family and friends! Each year more than 200 farmers, their families and friends ride on floats in an amazing night time parade. Come to see antique and modern tractors and farm equipment adorned with lights and holiday decorations!
