Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Centre

Located in the 64 acre lands of Marden Park, two kilometres west of Highway 6 in Guelph/Eramosa Township, the Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Centre is the first public facility of its kind in Wellington County.

This state-of-the-art facility houses a world class artificial turf sports field that is able to accommodate single full field games or several simultaneous activities on a safely divided field. A perimeter rubberized track offers a training area for amateur athletes and a walking/jogging track for the public. In this facility, you will also find a coaching/learning room, outdoor multi-purpose fields, an outdoor fully lit, CFL size football field and additional amenities and services. The building compliments the features of the surrounding park, including the natural wooded areas, a 5.5 acre pond, a cold water stream, outdoor sports fields, picnic areas, community centre, and county library.  Welcome to the Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Centre (RDAPC)!

2023 Fitness Class Registration Now Open

Stroller Fit Registration is open!

Stroller Fit – Accelerate

ACCELERATE is an active hour-long class recommended for postpartum mamas (and their babies) who are able to move with ease and confidence, and are looking for more of an athletic challenge. The focus is on recruiting the core through proper form and breath work in order to execute more complex and compound exercise movements with power. The class will progressively get more difficult over time, and the pace will be quick, punctuated with frequent short rest periods. The stroller will be used throughout the class, but baby-wearing is another alternative. Participants should be at least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared to exercise by their health care provider(s). Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle.

Stroller Fit – Revive

REVIVE is a restorative hour-long class recommended for 4th-Trimester mamas (and their babies), or mamas who are still recovering from the physical and/or mental/emotional toils of postpartum life. The focus is on re-connecting with the core, re-learning how to breath with the intention of turning on the parasympathetic system, and mastering fundamental movement patterns critical for more robust exercise in the future. Week-by-week, the class will progressively become more challenging, but the pace will always remain unhurried and the movements deliberate. The stroller will be used for warm-ups and cool-downs, and for some portions of the class, baby-wearing is an alternative that works better for some. Participants should be at least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared to exercise by their health care provider(s). Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle.

Baby and Tot Yoga begins January 16th

Baby Yoga (newborn to almost crawling)

Explore dozens of yoga poses designed specifically to be enriching to your baby and to support developmental movement discoveries. Each class is filled with calming, nurturing ways to enhance bonding, aid baby`s digestion and improve sleep patterns. Babies will enjoy yoga while on their backs, tummies or held in loving arms. For parents, this class is a special opportunity to meet other parents, get support and learn about baby's emerging personality. Most of the yoga we do in this class is for baby but, for parents, we always find time for some breathing and relaxation practice.

Tot Yoga (able crawler to 24 months)

These classes are creative, fun-loving and active. Watch tots become more confident as they are encouraged and supported in their physical explorations. Your tot will playfully practice yoga poses with your assistance, while sitting, standing, walking, and jumping. This is a faster-paced yoga class because of the tots' newfound mobility and curiosity. Parents will still find time for quiet breathing and relaxation practice.
