Muncipal Election is October 26, 2026!

For the 2026 Municipal Election, the Township of Guelph Eramosa will be partnering with Elections Ontario to assist with voter registration and accessibility. Elections Ontario is a safe website which provides voters with easy access to registering for this year’s election. Many voters may have used this site for previous provincial elections and may already be registered; your registration status can be verified using the link below

The EO Website can be used to:

  • Check your voter registration status and information

  • Update your information

  • Add information

  • Remove information

This portal can be used to register until August 12, 2026: after this date, in order to register to vote, voters must go to the Township Office located at 8348 Wellington Road 124, P.O. Box 700, Rockwood, ON N0B 2K0

How do I know if I am eligible to vote?

A person is entitled to be an elector (voter) at an election held in a municipality if, on Voting Day (October 26, 2026), he or she:

  • is a Canadian citizen
  • is at least 18 years of age
  • resides in the municipality, or is the owner or tenant of land in the municipality, or the spouse of such a person; and
  • is not prohibited from voting under any law.
