Partial Fire Ban in Effect
The Township of Guelph/Eramosa, in consultation with Wellington County Fire Chiefs, has implemented a partial fire ban effective immediately.
Under this partial ban:

No new burn permits will be issued until further notice.

Campfires are still permitted at this time.

The restriction is intended to reduce the risk of larger, open-air fires, which pose a greater hazard during hot and dry conditions.
We will continue to monitor weather and field conditions closely. If the hot, dry weather persists, additional restrictions may be implemented.
