Online Interactive Planning Map
Use the online Interactive Planning Map to search your property for zoning information.
Step 1:
Enter your address in the search bar in the top right hand corner.
Tip: as you enter your address, it should auto-populate. If you are having trouble finding your property, please make sure your address is entered correctly (e.g. use Wellington Road 124 instead of County Road 24 or Highway 24). You can also use the plus and minus buttons on the left hand side of the map to zoom in or out to find your address.
Step 2:
Click on the highlighted property, a pop-up window will appear with the following information: applicable zoning by-law number, property zoning and special provision number (if applicable). If there is site-specific zoning (e.g. 21.01) you will need to refer to Section 21 of the Zoning By-law to identify the associate regulations. Note that site-specific zoning supersedes the base zone.
Step 3:
Visit our Zoning By-law information page on our website to review the provisions of each zone.
