Update - July 28, 2025 - Revised Timeline
Due to additional works that were not anticipated during the initial assessment, the reopening of the road has been delayed. Crews are working diligently to complete the necessary tasks, and we now anticipate that the road will reopen early next week.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we ensure the work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Update - June 17, 2025
Construction will begin the week of July 7th for approximately two weeks. This requires a full road closure at Conservation Road and WR 38 (Victoria Road), and Conservation and Jessica Lane with no access to Conservation Road from Jessica Lane.
Conservation Road is closed effective immediately at Jessica Lane with no access through to Wellington Road 38 until further notice. A culvert failure has compromised the road structure.
Through traffic to detour between Highway 6 and Wellinton Road 38 using Marden Road.
Once flows subside, staff can assess situation and plan repair/replacement of the culvert.
